Fatemeh Heidarhosseini is an Iranian-born painter based in London and a recent graduate of the Royal College of Art. Her practice explores migration, displacement, and memory, moving fluidly between landscape, abstraction, and portraiture to access emotional and psychological depth. Shaped by lived experiences of censorship in Iran, her work reflects on themes of belonging and uncertainty through dark, layered compositions on wood and linen. Working intuitively, Heidarhosseini allows her paintings to unfold as quiet, contemplative spaces where emotion, metaphor, and personal history converge, speaking to the shared weight and vulnerability of being human.
