Firoozeh Shabqareh was born in July 1994, has a bachelor’s degree in painting from Tehran Islamic Azad University. Her paintings are mainly in the style of expressionism and abstract style. By using oil and acrylic paints, Firoozeh attempts to bring the most profound emotions and dormant thoughts on the canvas; sentiments which are deep inside one’s unconsciousness. Feelings of fear, anxiety, sorrow, insecurity, and even panic attacks that she’s been struggling with since she was 18 years old - Firoozeh Shabqareh has no fear of portraying negative, dark and sometimes unacceptable feelings and thoughts.
