Fujie Yoshimoto is a Japanese artist based in London, UK. She studied art in Japan and London, gaining a Diploma in Art and Design at Sir John Cass and studied Life Drawing at St Martins. Working with oil paint on canvas, she describes her art as “Modern Fauvism”, while also being inspired by Matisse, Klimt and “people with shining life forces regardless of which kind of life state they might be in at the time, in the same way that the Moon and stars are illuminated by the Sun: the nature of the Universe.” Fujie specialises in portraits, painting with oil in her own unique style.
