Artist Profile

Gintare Maskaliuniene is a traditional oil painter from Lithuania whose work explores the relationship between humans, fauna, and flora. She graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts, earning a Bachelor's degree in Painting in 2010 and a Master's degree in 2012. Since 2016, she has been a member of the Lithuanian Artists' Association. Inspired by the hazy horizons of the Lithuanian landscape and the quiet presence of nature in everyday life, Gintare's paintings often depict domestic animals, rural environments, traces of human presence, and the subtle passage of time in nature. Her works are characterized by their lightness, delicacy, and harmonious atmosphere. Rather than delving into complex philosophical concepts, she seeks to capture the understated beauty of ordinary moments.
