Grace Dorothee Tong is a Cameroonian artist who lives and works in Douala. She graduated in 2019 with a professional license in Fine Arts from the Institute of Fine Arts in Nkongsamba, University of Douala. Not knowing any member of her biological family, Tong’s artistic practice explores the social and ontological aspects of relationships and the notion of identity as an element of not belonging. She expresses herself through her self-portraits, staging friends in photography, painting, etchings, and videos.
