Elena Georgiou was born and raised in Cyprus. She studied interior design and at the same time during her studies, she attended a series of seminars art and photography, and then, became part of her life. In 2009 she became a member of the Cyprus Photographic Society and she has participated in group exhibitions both in Cyprus and abroad (Athens, Belgium, Berlin and Paris). Got her first distinction in the European competition organized by the European Policy Centre (EPC)- European Parliament. She has been awarded in several others photography contests such as the Cyprus Photographic Society, Union of Cyprus Municipalities, Popular Photography 'Best Shot', foto4all.
