Ingrid Resurreccion is a Filipino-born, Canada-based artist whose practice spans painting, drawing, and sculpture, exploring themes of suffocation, trauma, and resilience. With a background in interior design and the experience of running three creative businesses in the Philippines, Ingrid combines discipline, structure, and storytelling with a deeply personal studio practice. Her work often incorporates plastic as a central symbol, reflecting both protection and entrapment, and conveys the tension between fragility and endurance. Since moving to Ottawa to study at the Ottawa School of Art, she has embraced experimentation, risk, and self-expression, translating her lived experiences into evocative, visually striking works that speak to survival, memory, and the human condition.
