Jelena Djokic was born in 1986 in Uzice, Serbia. She graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Construction Department (Belgrade University), took private classes in architecture drawing and sculpting in Belgrade, Italian and English, and although she was accepted at Faculty of Applied Arts, decided to follow her true calling as a self-taught watercolor artist as she needed different approach. Jelena finds inspiration in simplicity, inner beauty, light, love, passion, people, freedom, color, flows, natural moves of human body, water, moment of now.
