Kaiya Khatri
British visual artist
Kaiya Khatri is a British visual artist and Fine Art graduate of Loughborough University (2022) whose practice explores preservation, ecology, and the spiritual significance of the natural world through experimental printmaking. Drawing on her experience as a practising Hindu, she investigates flowers as symbols of devotion, reverence, and interconnectedness, inspired by the ritual of Puja. Working with organic materials such as salt, coffee, and wine, she develops cyclical processes that echo natural systems while preserving the delicate forms of flowers. Rather than seeking to imitate nature, Khatri's work celebrates its fragility and enduring beauty, reflecting on humanity's relationship with the environment
