Artist Profile
Katalisia Sikora
Artist based in Estonia
Katalisia Sikora (Jekaterina Sikora) is an artist whose practice explores the profound symbolism of ancient ornaments and sacred geometry, revealing what she describes as the fundamental structure of existence. Born in Sevastopol, Crimea, and now based in Estonia, her early fascination with the order of the universe led her to earn an engineering degree in 2008 before ultimately turning to art as a path of self-discovery and creation. Beginning her painting practice in 2022, Katalisia weaves principles of sacred geometry with themes of cosmic structure and the laws of love, translating these ideas into intricate visual compositions. A mother of four, she approaches her work as both spiritual inquiry and intergenerational dialogue. Her works are held in private collections in Russia, Greece, Italy, and Estonia. In 2023, she completed advanced studies in art therapy to deepen her understanding of color and compositional psychology, and she continues to expand her practice through the study of mehendi, merging body art with geometric symbolism.
