Artist Profile

Katarina Apolonio (Šibenik, Croatia) is a Croatian artist whose painting practice explores the relationship between consciousness, perception, and transformation. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb, where she studied art conservation and restoration, Apolonio later expanded her practice through studies in body-oriented psychotherapy, metaphysics, and creative therapies, specializing in Art Therapy since 2025. Drawing on this multidisciplinary background, her work investigates how invisible states of consciousness can take material form through painting, creating spaces for reflection, transformation, and expanded awareness. She is a member of the Croatian Association of Artists.
