Kono Raymond Yves (b.1987) is an artist living and working in Yaoundé, Cameroon. From a young age he was already interested in drawing which he saw on television or in comic books. His visual language is the antithesis of the public's expectations presented through his half-human characters with upside-down heads, which he calls “Ntshi-Ntshim” (in the Eton language, meaning Spirit).
