Artist Profile

Kosmas Glykas is a Greek sustainable artist based in Athens whose practice is dedicated to the creative reuse and transformation of discarded materials and everyday objects. After developing his skills through four years of art workshops in sculpture and construction, he began focusing on reuse as both an artistic method and an environmental commitment. Since 2015, he has shared his creations through Second Chance for Reuse, while also founding the REUSE REMADE UPCYCLE GREECE community in 2017 to encourage others to explore creative approaches to discarded materials. Through sculpture, functional objects, online tutorials, and collaborative exhibitions with the GReek UPcyclers team, Glykas promotes a culture of reuse, demonstrating how waste can be transformed into meaningful and practical works of art.
