Born in Gwangju, Korea, and currently based in Seoul, Kyeonghoon Oh is a media artist whose practice bridges Eastern traditions and Western sensibilities. A graduate of Kaywon University of Art and Design with a degree in Media Art, Oh employs diluted acrylics, diffusion, and intricate layering techniques to create ethereal compositions that merge the visual poetics of Eastern aesthetics with the narrative richness of Western mythology, legends, and animation-inspired imagery. Through this distinctive visual language, Oh explores the perceptual and emotional contrasts between Eastern and Western cultures, reflecting a deeply personal journey of navigating dreams, memories, and moments of frustration in pursuit of artistic expression.
