Lali was born in Alajuela Costa Rica in 1984. During a difficult part of her life, Lali's friend Samira Elhaij agreed on teaching her to paint. The first painting she did featured birds which is her favorite subject. Lali's interest in art grew thanks to the encouragement from my family and friends. Lali has been living in Playas del Coco for more than 7 years, where nature provides an abundance of inspiration. In her surroundings she can see hummingbirds, motmots, blue magpies, iguanas, tropical flowers, the beaches and daily sunsets.
