Latifa Zafar Attaii, born in Ghazni, Afghanistan, migrated with her family to Quetta, Pakistan, at a young age. Growing up as a refugee, she completed her elementary education in Pakistan before returning to Afghanistan to continue her studies. Attaii later enrolled at the Faculty of Fine Arts at Kabul University, and after earning the UMISAA scholarship, she moved to Lahore, Pakistan, to study at Beaconhouse National University. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts and Design in 2017. Currently, Attaii lives and works in Tehran, Iran, where she continues to develop her artistic practice.
