Leila Bakouche (Algiers) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the relationship between urban space, identity, and visual storytelling. Influenced by the architectural richness of her Mediterranean upbringing, she combines photography, digital media, and text to reveal the narratives embedded in cities and everyday life. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in cultural mediation and visual studies in Toulouse, she has exhibited internationally, including at the SEEDJERBA Media Art Biennale and the ManifestO Festival, where she received a Special Encouragement Award. Her practice, often centered on portraiture, extends into pedagogy and community engagement, with recent projects focusing on cultural diversity through analog photography.
