Leuna Njiele Noumbimboo

Leuna Njiele Noumbimboo (b. 1996) studied for 5 years at the Kongsamba School of Fine Arts from which she graduated in 2019 with a master's degree in painting and video. She then participated in several group exhibitions while continuing her research in the studio of Hervé Youmbi. In 2021, she won the first prize of the Pascale Marthine Tayou competition for young hopefuls, and was awarded a two-month residency with Hervé Youmbi, as well as a three-month residency with Justine Gaga in Bonendale. 2021 also saw her first solo exhibition at the French Institute in Yaoundé.
