Lisette van Hoogenhuyze (1991), was born in The Hague, Netherlands. She graduated Art History at the UvA before she finished her degree in Fine Art in 2019 at the University of Arts Utrecht. She now lives and works between Amsterdam and Lisbon. Traveling frequently herself, the artist researches identity, collective memory, and language. Via various layers and color arrangements derived from different visual motives, Lisette takes you on a journey through different approaches to contemporary (sub)cultures in a recognizable yet unfamiliar way.
