Logan Moody is a New Zealand–born stencil artist based in Melbourne, Australia, whose work bridges realism and urban commentary through a highly meticulous, process-driven practice. Rooted in the visual language of the city, his compositions draw inspiration from Melbourne’s sprawling urban environment, reflecting on everyday life and uncovering moments of quiet significance within the mundane. Moody’s labour-intensive stencil technique functions as both craft and meditation, emphasising patience, precision, and a continual push against the perceived limits of the medium. Alongside his engagement with the built environment, his work also addresses themes of sustainability and personal responsibility, underscoring the urgency of conscious living in a rapidly changing world. He has been exhibited multiple times as a finalist in the Stencil Art Prize in Sydney, along with selections in numerous other art prizes.
