Marcos Kueh is a Sarawakian designer who has always had a desire to better understand his place and identity as a Malaysian. Just as the people of his land encapsulated and abstracted myths, dreams and the environment into textiles, his work is a storybook of traditional and contemporary values in the form of yarns and fibres. He believes in the reflective power of storytelling and in the many thanks we can learn from the past, be it an hour ago or a decade ago. Living in selective multi cultural country, Marcos has a longing desire to better understand his place and identity as a Malaysian. Most of his works revolve around translating and mix-matching cultural elements into story telling visual graphics. Kueh is currently pursuing Bachelor in Graphic Design in The Royal Academy of Art, The Hague.
