Maria-Patricia Lupascu, a product designer and ceramicist based in Arnhem, Netherlands, draws inspiration from her Moldovan heritage, specifically focusing on the cultural significance of Casa Mare, “The Big House.” Graduating from ArtEZ University of the Arts in 2024, she innovatively uses fabrics to create ceramic molds, crafting objects that visually represent this important room where Moldovan families celebrate rituals and display their most valued possessions.
