Mariam El Sayed Bakry (b. 1999, Alexandria, Egypt) is an emerging painter whose work explores human connection, memory, and ritual, often using the shared meal as a symbol of intimacy and belonging. A 2023 graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department, she has exhibited widely across Egypt. Guided by intuition and expressive brushwork, her paintings reveal layered emotional landscapes and everyday moments of togetherness. As both artist and educator, Bakry is steadily cultivating her voice within Egypt’s contemporary art scene.
