Mario Pavez graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Chile in 2001. Two years later he obtained a postgraduate scholarship from the Fundación Arte y Autores Contemporáneos in Madrid. In 2005, he studied a Master in Theory and Practice of Contemporary Plastic Arts at the Complutense University, and later did his doctorate studies there. He currently lives and works in Madrid.
