Martina Buiat works as a science communicator and museum operator. She was born in Trieste, Italy, in 1982, and got her Ph.D. in physics at the University of Ferrara. During the first COVID lockdown in Italy, she found myself at home without a job and, to calm the anxiety of that period, she started embroidering old photos and postcards, discovering a new passion. Martina’s works have taken part in various exhibitions and, combining her passion for embroidery and dissemination, she has begun to hold various paper embroidery workshops, in order to spread this particular technique.
