Mats Mingus van der Vlugt is an Amsterdam-based artist and a graduate of the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (Bachelor of Fine Arts). Drawing from a deep-rooted connection to analogue photography and a fascination with digital media, his work merges Polaroid imagery, silkscreen, sculpture, and collage into a dynamic visual language. With a focus on themes like media distortion, geopolitical conflict, and contemporary perception, Mats constructs complex installations that blur the line between spontaneity and control.
