Mehdi Zemouri, born in 1993 in Tangier, Morocco, is a painter and street artist whose work draws on the rich cultural and historical heritage of his city. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts, Mehdi has been recognized with numerous awards, including regional and national prizes at the Festival of Young Artists, the Festival of Cultural Arts, and the Tangiers Art Festival. Passionate about street art from an early age, he uses his practice to communicate meaningful messages to the public with a distinctly Moroccan touch, aiming to create works that inspire reflection, love, and solutions to societal challenges. Alongside his artistic career, Mehdi brings extensive experience in social work, further grounding his work in community engagement.
