Mira Ivanishina grew up in Moscow. A few years ago, she moved to Texas where she met a wonderful artist and teacher - Laura Lisonbee. She taught Mira, mentored her, and helped her realize that art is an intrinsic part of her world. Nowadays, social media blur the boundaries of personal and public life. Mira want her art to show how privacy can become compromised. At the same time, the viewer interprets the content of Mira’s paintings based on his/her own experience and feelings.
