Molly Rangiwai-McHale is a New Zealand-born artist of Ngāti Porou, Te Aupōuri, Scottish, Irish, and Chinese descent, whose multidisciplinary practice engages with themes of cultural identity, decolonisation, and the reclamation of Indigenous narratives. A graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts from the University of Auckland, her work has been featured in prominent collections, including Te Papa Tongarewa and private collections in Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia. Rangiwai-McHale's art is a powerful assertion of Indigenous presence and agency, using accessible materials and forms to reconnect urban Māori and Pacific communities with their cultural heritage.
