Moussa Issarou, aka Moses Mous, a native of Maroua, Cameroon, was born in 1995 and raised in a large family of eleven siblings in the northern region of the country. His early years were immersed in an environment where family members were skilled in crafts such as sewing and shoemaking. However, it was the influence of his father that set him on a path to explore and cultivate his innate artistic talents, as his father promised to support his artistic ambitions by sending him to art school. He pursued formal education in plastic arts and screen printing, which provided him with a strong foundation to develop his artistic skills. Mous continued to refine his talents and actively participated in numerous festivals and exhibitions, gaining recognition and acclaim for his work.
