Mulenga J. Mulenga is a Zambian visual artist living and working in Lusaka. Her diverse practice spans painting, sculpture, video, photography, installation, and performance, all unified by an exploration of identity, gender, sexuality, spirituality, and humanity’s impact on nature. Drawing on African spirituality and historical analysis, Mulenga reimagines both past and present narratives, centering the black female body as an archive that translates memory into tangible form. Her work has garnered international recognition, including exhibitions at the Seychelles Biennale, Dak’Art Biennale, and the Art in the Making exhibition in Israel.
