Narantuya
Mongolian painter
Narantuya Baldan (b. 1999, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia) is a Mongolian painter whose practice explores spiritual strength, individual identity, freedom, and the relationship between the divine and its opposing forces. She graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mongolian Painting from the School of Fine Arts at the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture, where she studied under B. Nyamkhuu. Since 2021, she has been a member of the Mongolian Painting Association, developing her practice through its studio and participating regularly in exhibitions and art events, including Golden Brush 16, CAM 6, Art Fair, and Art Week. Through a personal visual language rooted in abstraction, Baldan reflects on feminine beauty, inner strength, individuality, space, and freedom. Her compositions emerge intuitively, allowing abstract forms to evolve as sites where the visible and invisible, the personal and spiritual, and opposing forces can coexist.
