Artist Profile

Nina Nazarova is a multidisciplinary artist based in Tbilisi, Georgia, working across glass, sculpture, and mixed media. Her practice explores material transformation, perception, and the ways time reshapes relationships between materials and living beings. A 2025 graduate of ARUCAD with a BA in Plastic Arts, she combines her independent practice with work at Art Glass Studio ShushaBanda. In Constructed Head, Nazarova transforms broken porcelain sinks rejected during manufacturing into a sculptural portrait, preserving the original forms of the fragments rather than altering them. The work, created for the sustainable art competition From Broken to Beautiful, was awarded First Prize.
