Paulina Halasova is a Slovak visual artist based in Spišská Nová Ves. She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava between 2011 and 2017, where she developed a strong foundation in contemporary painting. Alongside her studies, she completed four semesters of scenography at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, broadening her understanding of spatial composition and visual storytelling. In 2015–2016, Halasova continued her education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in the painting studio of Michael Rittstein. Her multidisciplinary background in painting and scenography informs a practice that engages with narrative, atmosphere, and the expressive possibilities of contemporary figurative art.
