Philipp Anaskin studied Art and Visual Communication in Universidad Nacional Costa Rica, UNA. In his work, through formal elements such as color, texture and brushstrokes, Anaskin builds a channel that helps to understand her identity, clinging to her group like family, defining the place or non-place created by tales, stories and fantastic memories. A personal analysis of migration, a double origin and being and not being part of a space and a symbolic tradition and deferred culture.
