Pippa Dyrlaga
Paper cutting artist and printmaker based in Yorkshire, England
Pippa Dyrlaga completed her Degree in Contemporary Art Practice at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2006 and her MA in Art and Design in 2011. She started paper cutting in 2010. Her paper cut works are hand cut from a single sheet of paper and take hours to complete. They are first drawn out by hand on the reverse of the paper, and then cut using a scalpel.
In the last couple of years, Pippa has had the opportunity to work with such companies as Element Jewellery, Impression Originale, York University, Market Taverns, Wood & Wire, Awagami Paper Factory and Excel Blades.
