Polish visual artist, painter, and graphic designer
Pola Piestrzeniewicz is a Polish visual artist, painter, and graphic designer, as well as a graduate of the Wladyslaw Strzeminski Academy of Fine Arts in Lódz. Her practice spans painting, graphic design, and artistic installations, often embracing experimentation and a fascination with the “beautifully strange.” She has received multiple distinctions, including a scholarship from the Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage (2021) and second prize in the XXXVII Wladyslaw Strzeminski Fine Arts Competition (2020). Her work has also been recognized by the Lódz House of Culture, the EMANATIONS Festival, and the INSPIRATIONS competition organized by the Foundation for Contemporary Art PALETA, as well as the Hiki Fromer Empatia Competition (2021). Piestrzeniewicz has participated in international poster initiatives, including competitions under the auspices of UNESCO, establishing her as a versatile voice within contemporary Polish art.
