Priyanka Singh Maharjan

Priyanka Singh Maharjan is a visual artist and art facilitator based in Kathmandu. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Kathmandu University’s Centre for Art and Design in 2018. Her artistic practice primarily revolves around exploring her past and reinterpreting memories through a variety of media. Currently, she is focused on giving visual form to the intangible yet significant aspects of her past, using photography and embroidery as key methods of expression. Priyanka showcased her work at the Kochi Student Biennale, which is part of the renowned Kochi-Muziris Biennale in Kerala, India. In addition to her artistic endeavors, she works as an art facilitator at Srijanalaya, a non-profit organization dedicated to alternative forms of art education in Nepal.
