Rea worked in graphic design and illustration and sheI switched from digital to analog after the 2020 pandemic. Much of her artwork in recent years has focused on acrylic paintings with a female theme. In her work she expresses the sparkling "kawaii" beauty of girls on the surface and their (hidden) faces and thoughts as they struggle beneath the surface to repair their outer faces. These girls, who live strongly as they struggle between reality and ideals, experience the utmost brilliance in their fragility.
