Sarah Ben Amar is a photographer and filmmaker whose practice investigates the tensions and connections between the individual and the collective, and the ways in which space both shapes and reflects these dynamics. She began photography at the age of 17, later expanding her artistic language through studies in English and History, alongside an emerging interest in film. Her work has been developed through international residencies, including the 13th edition of ARTIFARITI in Western Sahara and the Derb Cinema documentary residency in Tlemcen.
