Selome Muleta is an Ethiopian visual artist whose non-figurative practice explores the psychological and emotional impact of interpersonal relationships. Trained at Abyssinia Fine Arts School and Entoto Technical and Vocational School, she creates introspective works that examine how shared experiences and exchanges shape identity, perception, and mental well-being. Through abstraction, Muleta translates complex inner states into layered compositions that reflect the fluid nature of human connection. Her work has been presented in solo exhibitions at Guramayne Art Centre and Fendika Art Gallery, as well as in group exhibitions in Addis Ababa, establishing her as a thoughtful voice within Ethiopia’s contemporary art scene.
