Shelina Khimji is a self-taught, award-winning Tanzanian artist and Chartered Accountant, with over a decade of experience in the art world. Known for her vibrant and impressionistic style, she has exhibited internationally, including at World Art Dubai and the Saatchi Gallery in the UK. She has been featured in publications like The National UAE, Art & Lusso, and The Citizen Tanzania, and has judged art competitions, such as for the Lions Club of Tanzania. Shelina's work reflects her African and Arabian heritage, blending cultural and contemporary influences, often with themes of femininity, nostalgia, and social awareness. She has contributed to charitable initiatives, including art auctions for childhood cancer services, and has created murals in children's hospitals. A two-time finalist in the New York and Los Angeles Coffee Art Project, she is also part of the immersive web3 platform, AWEDACITY. Shelina’s academic background includes qualifications as a Chartered Accountant, with 14 years of experience in auditing and management.
