Shenja Tatschke is a Berlin-based illustrator, animator, and visual artist who lives nomadically for much of the year. Known for bold colors, quirky characters, and playful GIFs, her work spans editorial and commercial illustration, digital art, NFTs, animated short films, and physical paintings. A graduate in Communication Design from HTW Berlin, she completed multiple internships in design and animation studios before establishing herself as a freelance creative in 2019. Her practice explores themes of friendship, love, spirituality, awkward human interactions, and unapologetic confidence, often infused with humor. Influenced by cartoons such as Bob’s Burgers, absurd cinema, Adult Swim aesthetics, and artists like Sophie Koko Gate, Shenja also draws inspiration from meditation, daydreaming, people-watching, and her travels around the world.
