Stella Kapezanou is graduated from Chelsea in 2017 with an MA in Fine Art. She is a visual artist composing complex, ironic and sometimes obscure works which draw their inspiration from capitalistic and materialistic western societies.

The artist’s point of departure is the very ‘aesthetics of consumption’’, and therefore she draws her images from the ‘everyday’ life of people and the relations which bind them with objects, places and times. She is intrigued by subjects that are not considered ‘high art’ but rather ‘ordinary’, in the sense that they are familiar to the viewers’ eyes, and she strives to define the real relations between 'men' and their ‘things’.
