Tewa Barnosa is an interdisciplinary artist working between Tripoli and Amsterdam whose practice spans visual art, film, sound, performance, and curatorial work. Her work examines warfare, ecology, and the exploitation of land and people through anti-colonial approaches to language, technology, and digital culture. Drawing on absent archives, Bedouin and Amazigh oral traditions, fiction, and political propaganda, she weaves narratives of resistance that center generational knowledge, while also engaging in pedagogy and collective art-making rooted in post-2011 Libyan cultural discourse.
