Usra Hamza is a self-taught Sudanese artist who began her artistic journey in 2014 as a path toward self-discovery and emotional expression. Working primarily in mixed media, she creates deeply personal works that reflect her inner dialogue with the world, combining bold lines with rich, layered colours. For Usra, art is an act of liberation—a space for honesty and vulnerability where intangible feelings take visual form, capturing the complexity of human experience. She has participated in numerous regional and international exhibitions, including shows in the UAE, Uganda, Kenya, and Sudan.
