Uzor Ugoala (b. 1995) is a Nigerian artist who creates visually stimulating and introspective work in photography and sculpture that explores the human experience, navigating the path of self-discovery, understanding purpose fundamental to our existence, and the collective search for meaning. Having dropped out of medical school to be entirely self-taught in his practice, he approaches photography with a ‘sculptural eye’ by fabricating the props he employs in his work.
