Victor Chigozie Anachuna (b. 2001, Anambra) is an emerging contemporary artist based in Lagos, Nigeria. A graduate of Visual Arts from the University of Lagos, he is recognized for his versatile realist paintings that employ acrylic on canvas to portray striking figures imbued with poise and depth. Rooted in a keen observation of human identity, Victor’s practice investigates how individuals navigate an increasingly complex and shifting society. His current body of work amplifies the diverse experiences of those existing outside cultural norms, urging a critical examination of the social constructs that shape—and often marginalize—certain communities.
