Artist Profile

Wolf Newton is a UK-based multidisciplinary artist working across sculpture, painting, moving image, and stop-motion animation. Combining humour, character, and storytelling, his practice explores identity, belonging, and community. His ongoing project Woolly Wolves features a growing pack of handmade sculptures crafted from recycled wool salvaged from single-use dog-food packaging, with wire armatures, hematite eyes, and howlite teeth. Through this playful transformation of discarded materials, Newton gives waste a new purpose while building an evolving fictional world that extends into stop-motion animation. His work has been exhibited at Jealous Gallery in London and featured by Dazed online.
