Yaffah Kanfitine was born in 1981 in Lome, Togo. His village is Dapaong Gourma in northern Togo, but it is of Burkinabe origin of the town of Fada Guma. Contemporary self-taught artist, he devoted himself solely to his art from 2003. Today, he divides his time between his studio in Lome and Assahoun, where he is a member and founder of the historical Pivec Togo association.
